  • Storm Ondoy Experience

    Early morning around 10:00 am, September 26, 2009 in Bagtikan Street Makati, my office mate “Marilyn Lobo” remind me to move my car on elevated place due to her flood prediction. I prepare to move inside the basement of GMA Lou Bel Building to make may car safe, but while I’m on my way driving on the entrance my car engine stop and I couldn’t start. They try to push the car to move but I resist not going because of of the break of my car is not good. I decide not to go down even if they can push the car down to the basement. I manage to park outside the building even it is reserved parking for the Owner of the building.

    I went up to the office and after a few minutes just enough for me to send an email, I went down again to check again what is going on and I found out that the basement of the building was already filled up with flood. Thank God that my car is not included in the basement filled of flood. I’m close enough to taste the most expensive shake. The car shake crush and scramble inside the basement.

    In the history of Bagtikan Street and other street in San Antonio Village in Makati, once become a river.

    I miss you

    I miss you… sometimes I am listening to the music or looking at the picture of you, not to remind me of the past but to make me feel like I’m with you. It help me forget the distance between me and you. And make me feel that I’m just embracing you.

    Enjoy your wonderful journey wherever you are going and comeback anytime you want, here is your home that is always open whenever you return. Where everybody here are missing you, please come back while we’re still here.

    No matter how far you are and no matter how long you’re gone, you will always be within me. I will always picture you in my mind as clear like daylight.

    Because I want you to know… our hearts are one that whatever emotion you feel I’ll be part of it.

    Let’s Run!

    In every race! no matter what conditions you’re in, when the time starts you better go and move fast. At the end of the race, a goal can be achieved. Everybody may reach the goal but only few get the rewards. Life is like a race that keeps you moving and the people at the starting point will not always be the same person that you will know and met at the finish line. It’s not about how far you can go or how fast you can get there. During the race, the important part is how you get there.

    The joy at the finish line is the story you can tell how you did it. Don’t live a life ending your goal a lonely one; make the final lapse to be your victor. If you know that you’re not happy change the way you live so that you will make it at the finish line triumphant. The prize is not what you always get at the end but sometimes you already had the prize from the starting line. In real life it’s just like being born and die. We’ve just pass through life to enjoy and complete your missions.

    The starting line

    Start on whatever you have now. And learn from every step that you made. Learning is the key to get ahead and for you to guide others. Take action and it will cause an effects and reactions to the things that you want. Think of it and you will get more knowledge about it. Don’t act! Don’t think and nothing will happen. When the time starts you better move or if you act you better think first.

    The run

    Managing your energy will help you to perform a great run. Feeding your heart with love will make you enjoy the track. Having a good vision in mind will help you anticipate what fortune ahead of you. Stopping and quitting in the middle will end up to nothing. Everybody wants to live a life that they want to be, the same things when you start to run. You better reach the finish line and it’s about how you keep moving.

    The Finished line

    Life is an art; you make an art to contribute how beautiful world it is to live. You can make history to tell the young the way you pass through life. You run to prepare their path. Your goal at the finished line is just always the beginning for the next generation. If you live a life for others, your tracks and trail will not going to be fade and for every steps you marked in the road, It shows us how you made it through.

    We did not cross the finish line for nothing, the track we made will lead others to where we are now and to where we are heading. ~dlysen

    I love comics even though I really don’t read it. I have Superman, Batman and Robin, Green Lantern, Justice League, Flash, Wonder Woman and more…

    My DC Comics

    I am too lazy to read DC Comics when I was a child and I never thought reading and writing will be my daily hobby. My DC comics are all given to me by my brother in law when he was courting my sister. I am planning to sell this to eBay but I have special memento to it. It is already borrow for a year before I have it back. I want to pass it on to others that are so close to me and I’m sure I will miss it.

    Why I Love DC Comics

    I want to become a hero that’s why I love the story even I don’t read the action the picture in the comics is enough for me to understand the stories. I love the art of drawing, sketch, canvas, portrait of the super hero. I almost dream to be one of the best graphic artists in the comics when I was a child. Maybe it’s not for me or maybe someday it will be.

    My Favorite DC Comics

    Since I already knew superman, batman, flash, wonder woman and other super hero, when it comes to DC comics I only like superman. I like superman because it is much more I have other than else and also I can’t afford to buy what I really like is not from DC Comics. It’s X-Men from Marvel Comics. That was X-Men on TV series when I use to watch and like that time.

    What I Hate on DC Comics

    I hate the words to be continued in the end of the issues and yet you have to look for another issue to buy. And yet I still don’t buy, It I have it as a gift. I will never hate the one who gave it to me, he provide me a copy of every issue he have.

    He’s name is Wowie Medina. That you so much for giving your DC Comics as gift.

  • Farm Town Vs. FarmVille

    The games mechanics are very similar to each other. We can never skipped to compare which one is better to play. Farm Town lunch first before FarmVille. The new graphics and new taste of FarmVille is one of the great comparisons between the two. The option and the menu is most likely the same including the Items in the inventory.

    Market Place

    The features I like on Farm Town is the market place or langue that can able you to socialize with the other player. While FarmVille navigation made so easy with a mouse click auto shortcut to the appropriate task. The game is totally the same but it has different approach like an old song revival to a remixed, same lyric with different melody.

    Eventually I cannot judge which game application is better because the games are always updating and bringing more fun to the player. Both games will make you addicted to make your goals or achieve level rank.

    Farm Town

    Farm Town Advantage:

    – Mostly played
    – Socializing Friends
    – Very good in graphic

    Farm Town Disadvantage:

    – Many unusable items, good deco but useless
    – Hard to navigation with the menu


    FarmVille

    FarmVille Advantage:

    – More user friendly interface
    – Smooth and fast loading game
    – Much easier to play

    FarmVille Disadvantage:

    – Some don’t a carton like graphic
    – It’s hard to socialized with neighbor

    If you played these games, I’m sure you can have some comparison to share.

  • Friends’ love at all times

    Friends’ Love at all times – Proverbs 17:17

    Do you really love your friend? If not, you will lose a friend and it will be more difficult to have them back again or you just have to find another friend. Someone asked me that should I forgive a friend even if they keep doing wrong to you. “Yes” I said that even if that person is not your friend you should forgive them. There is nothing wrong with forgiving friends or stranger. Forgiving is the love you can share the way how our Loving God forgive His chosen children.

    How can you make a friend if you don’t love them or not loving them constantly? When the bible says “Friends Love at all times” it must be always, forever, and never ending. We must learn to love the person even if they are strangers. Make them feel that you’re kind enough to be a friends. Everybody needs to be love. Your friend is more than enough to become source of you happiness, triumph, and blessing in this world. Because true friends love at all times.

  • Job Well Done

    I’m just starting to write, my mind is full of something to write but I don’t know what topic and where will I start. I it’s hard to start writing when the ideas you have are don’t support each other. I have to write about my comic’s collection and a nice photo taken few weeks ago. I started to write on my comics and when I have to take picture of my comics, my focus diverted to the photo last taken from the camera. That photo must edit first to submit as soon as possible. Guest what happen? I’m freeze up. I ended writing this note. It always happens to me but still a break of a fresh breath will make me choose what I will do first.

    Often I ended not to finish the first thing I should do. I accomplished things in the end but this habit is really bad not to prioritize the first thing that you started. I notice that you will get more pending jobs and later you will be having an overload jobs to do. This is very tiring part in the end even the jobs comes to be easy to do the time pressure will eat up your energy and your mind will blown up exhausted.

    What I want you to know that if happen that you already started a jobs and get jam by other jobs, just take a break and think what you should do first in order of importance. Make a priority to what you are started. It’s ok to take a break it will boost up your energy to make a job well done.

    Don’t worry about the comics and the nice photo. Soon it will be job well done next to this.
