  • This is KADIWA 2013 – Manila Central Edition

    The “This is KADIWA 2013” held at New Era University Campus was fun and indeed successful, I assume that this event was for the year 2012 but it has move on Jan 5 and 6 2013 and for whatever reason for me it just fine. We can still hope that this can be organize again before this year end just when it was started on December 23, 2011.

    This Is KADIWA 2013 is hosted by Metro Manila Central District and open to all. Even some of the BUKLOD members comes to witness this event. I also wonder if there are some couple who manage to get a good relationship after the last  This Is KADIWA 2011 held on World Trade Center.

    I cannot express myself or say so much on this event because wasn’t able to attend, but I can able to tell something good by looking on my friends photo on Facebook. Pictures tell story and capture the moment and that can make me feel that was there even I wasn’t. Visit “This is KADIWA Facebook Fan Page” if you miss the event. I guessed the photo can say something about what happen and explain everything.

    This is KADIWA Golf Booth

    Probably one of the easiest booths to win in, the Golf Booth just needs you to put that golf ball in the hole in just three (3) tries. Earn a sticker and win as many This Is KADIWA 2013 exclusive items. I tried this on driving range, and it not easy for the beginner like me. Thanks for my coach Lutchie for inviting me to play golf with her when I was in Singapore. This is Kadiwa so lets talk about this it again.

     

    This is KADIWA Jail Booth

    If in Monopoly, you need a ‘Get Out of Jail — FREE’ card; and, in real life you need cash, a lawyer, and bail. Well, in MMC’s edition of This Is KADIWA, the Jail Booth needs your charm, guts, and witty humor if you want to get out. Yup! Here the mechanics are pure and simple. Once you’re caught and “put in jail,” you’ll have to talk to someone you’ve never met before and get as much as you can about them in a very short span of time. If you don’t, well expect to be locked up for a very long day.

    Who will be this year’s KADIWA’s “Next Top Model?” Show off your stuff, your strut and cobra walk. You may just be the next ‘IT’ thing in the world of fashion. Come on over to New Era University’s high school open field this January 05 and 06 with your family and friends, and visit the Top Model booth.

As one of the booths opened this January 05 and 06 at the New Era University open field, the Literature Booth aims to sharpen the creativity of the KADIWA through poetry.     Find your match at the Kiss Marks Booth! This sure beats the Lovapalooza held by Close Up every year. Why? A brother or a sister (in Christ) can amuse his/herself by drawing letters of the alphabet from a box and then looking for a fellow-KADIWA of the opposite gender whose name starts with the letter from the box. They have three minutes to find one to get their really “unusual prize”.

    if there is a stage there is a show, the Udaya band and other artist are there for us to entertain, I love to play with band so I miss the feeling of playing music on the stage with eyes and ears on you.

At MMC’s “Metro Manila Central” This Is KADIWA 2013 event at New Era University’s high school open grounds, you’ll find the Speed Dating Booth. That’s right! You’ve got just a few minutes to actually meet and get to know someone before the buzzer goes and ushers you to the next table where your next ‘date’ awaits you.

    Hosted by the Locale of Veterans Village 1 is an exciting and fun way for brethren to get together and build long-lasting friendships. The game is an INC-inspired version of Snakes and Ladders perfect for this year’s Water Snake. Thing is as some KADIWAs wait for their turns to play the real board games, they are given the chance to just sit down and play a simple game of tic-tac-toe.

    Having trouble searching for that certain someone to change your ‘Single’ or ‘It’s Complicated’ status? Just find the booth that guides you with three easy steps. No, it’s not “Stop! Look! And, listen!” Nor is it “Stop! Drop! And, roll!” It would be more of “Hanap! Usap! And, Deal!” Come to This Is KADIWA’s 2013 MMC edition and visit the Hello, dear! booth to see what might gonna happen next.

    Here, you can win a lot more “This Is KADIWA” pins in just one minute. At least two partners are required, most preferably a guy and a girl. One of the partners should pick the task from the box. The task is to draw what is written on the paper. In just one minute, his/her partner will guess what s/he drew. If they win, then they get more pins and stickers from the booth manager.

  • Year End Thanksgiving To God 2012

    Happy Thanksgiving. Let this year 2012 ends with hope and more blessing to welcome another prosperous year of 2013. I am very thankful to the blessing and opportunities that the Lord God had given to me. Thank you so much dear God. I have my endless thanks to God and I wanted to share some of the significant event in my life

    Health and Conditions – I am feeling good today, and I overcome my sickness. I have a good feeling on my shape and can breathe the air freely. To breathe the fresh air freely is so much to appreciate.

    Living Abroad – I never come to think living abroad for three months. This opportunity opens the door for me when my friend Lutchie invited me to work abroad. I am not lucky to get hired is the IT Company in Singapore but I manage to stay longer. I owe so much for Lutchie for providing me everything that I am not capable at the moment. Her generosity is so much to appreciate, thank you God for having this wonderful event in my life.

    Love – I’ll be thankful for the lessons I had from my experienced. For the girl I learn to love and care for, I thank you God for you thought me to care for the one who loves you and let go. I never see a perfect relationship but I can feel a perfect love from God. Thank for loving even if I am not worthy enough due to my sins.

    Family – I acknowledge my family for they are always with me no matter what trouble I’m in. I appreciate all their help and kindness. We are lucky to still have both of my parents. Thanks God for we can still hugs my mother and father.

    Friends and Strangers – Thanks for making friends and for having your time with me. I appreciate every moment specially when you share your smile with me. Although we don’t have so much time and that is enough to give thanks to God for having you. You might be the God instrument to share His knowledge and wisdom.

    Faith – I still have my faith. This helps me to live on and carry my Christian living. I am proud to be Iglesia Ni Cristo. I am very thankful for God called my brother Jose Sigasig and his wife Dhalia. I am very thankful for I once fulfill my duty to share God’s commandments.

    Money – I don’t have much to offer but thank you God for you this is enough for you as long as it is wholeheartedly offered to you. Money eventually come and goes, thanks for guiding me where to spend it correctly and importantly. I am also thankful for the opportunity where you don’t let me run out of money. You know that I used them all for good, thank again and again.

    Dear God, Thanks for everything, all the blessing I have was from you. I cannot manage to have this with my own effort, with your help and love; I give this year end I offer you my wholehearted Love and Thanks Giving.

  • Lesson from Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez 4

    If you can predict what will happen then you can take advantage of it. Just like what happen on the 4th match of Pacquio and Marqez. While Pacquiao was overconfident on the 6th round, Marquez was reading every moves and punch combinations of Manny Pacquiao’s. This helps Marquez to predict when exactly he is going to blow his knockout punch. This is the 4th time they will fight each other and the probability of knowing their moves is high. In the end game, the one who can predict every move up to the end has more chance of winning.

    Manny Pacquio gets over confident

    That sixth round wasn’t for Manny when he received a knockout punch. Manny Pacquio manage to connect more combination and solid punches on Marquez but just like a buzzer beater in a basketball game, Many was down in the canvas one second before the bell should ring.

    Be careful when you get over confident. Always be aware that the worst scenario can take place. The good things about Manny are he admits his lost and I like his sportsmanship.

    When you see what will happen then you can take advantage of it.

    You just have to wait for the perfect timing. Juan Manuel anticipate and read Manny Pacquio’s move on that last 10 seconds of the six round that even he was bombarded with solid punch his patience to wait for his lucky punch is victorious.

    We can get what we think we can and if we are willing to wait. Not everything we want can appear in instant, most of the time it requires our effort and action to do something about it.

    What did you learn?

    I’ve learn that good sportsmanship will be respect even if you lost the game.

    Getting overconfident is dangerous when fate is always unpredictable.

    You can make a difference.

    Learn to anticipate and to think ahead is the things you can do while others not.

     

  • Why good is therein goodbye when it suppose to break your heart?

    I embraced my farewell when I woke up knowing that you are not coming back. You had been part of my life and that moment in time, it is good to say goodbye.

    Let’s just say goodbye can give good luck as you bless the departing people from you. Why this causes our emotion to feel good or bad. I assumed that were just letting go of someone we are used to be.

    Why I feel good about goodbye

    I can taste it sweet when I felt it coming from your heart, some kind of feeling that I wanted to treasure in my memory and my thoughts of you is thinking of saying hello once again. It’s a kind of event that I expect to be good and hoping for the comeback.

    Why I feel bad about goodbye

    Luck is not always on our side. We can’t assume that it will be the last word that you can say. It’s always nice to say good things when you are saying goodbye. People can easily remember the first and last moment with you. I feel so bad when I can’t erase those bad memories I had with people that I’ve been with but I hope I did the right things. Sorry for the trouble, and I make sure that I’ve learned from it.

    What did you learn?

    You can say goodbye and flavored it with your feelings, it’s nice when it comes from your heart.

    Let your goodbye be remembered for the good things you did, and learn from the experience you had from saying goodbye.

  • Be careful not to over commit.

    Try to swallow while your mouth is too full. You will get choke when you can’t accommodate. Understand this and you can relate what it is mean not to over commit.

    It’s nice to make a commitment but you have to comply what it is.  Commitment gives challenges that you must be prepared.

    Learn To Say No

    One cannot manage too many affairs; like pumpkins in the water, one pops up while you try to hold down the other. – Chinese Proverb

    Learn when to say yes and when to say no. You have to know what you can do in due time so you can be confident enough give your commitment. Commitment is a responsibility that you must take care and attend.

    Think before you commit

    You must know what you’re doing more importantly if you are giving your commitment to others. You have to say it clear the level of your commitment. Like “I try, I do my best, and I do whatever it takes” most people succeed when they commit whatever it takes. People who try may quit soon enough when they get tired and people who do their best can fail when the best they exert is not good enough.

    A commitment is important ingredients of success.

    In relationship, marriage is a failure without a commitment. Sometime it is weird that the minister asks if you love each other for better or worst. It is a common sense that they want to get marriage and obviously they love each other. This is because the minister and witness want to ask your commitment.

    Commitment is the blood of your business, without it your business die. As long as you keep on doing the right things and committed to grow your business then success is right there.

    Remember the level of your commitment and make it clear. Don’t commit for a false hope, being honest to what you can give and do whatever it takes can make a difference.

    What did you learn?

    • There are three level of commitment, “I try, I do my best, and do whatever it takes.”
    • Think before you commit to avoid giving false hope.

    You can be successful by reaching your goals whatever it takes.

  • Would you rather be right than happy?

    Congratulation if you are happy and the person who knows how to sacrifice happiness to be righteous, a person who is living by his principle. What is happiness anyway if you’re the only one who can feel it? They believe that being right is a seed of happiness that can grow abundantly.

    There’s a difference between goodbye and letting go. Goodbye is “I’ll see you again and when I am ready to hold your hand, and when you’re ready to hold mine. Letting go is “I’ll miss your hand. I realized it’s not mine to hold, and I will never hold it again…

    In relationship letting go is better than being selfish in love. But it is hard to let go the person you really love and cannot live without. Some people break their own heart rather than the heart of their love. It’s hard to choose to be right than happy. You bare the pain and sacrifice because you believe something is greater after your struggle. It is better give up what makes you happy for today, because you can catch them for tomorrow.

    In business you would rather focus on what you started than entertaining every new opportunity. You might end up nothing to accomplish. Give your commitment to finish what you’ve started. There is always a temptation, better than what you are doing now. Even if you jump over the new business, new opportunity will always comes along. Let grow on what you started. It is better to be right than happy.

    I would rather humble than arrogance. I think being humble is nicer than arrogance; it is just depend on what you stand for. It is about knowing yourself and telling others who you are.

    There are many positive things that can make you happy while being right. You have to learn to be flexible in what you feel. I choose to be right first and happiness will follow. You can be happy anyway if you want too.

    Being happy is good, but you can do right thing to make it better.

  • Learn when to let go and move on.

    I remember the story of how to catch monkey in India “the hand of the monkey are stock inside the jar if the monkey will keep holding the things inside the jar, therefore the monkey cannot move fast if the jar is stock at the hand.” and this story is very good example how can you move on easily. Another example is the hot air balloon where you have to drop the sand bag to rise. We often times don’t let go of our dreams because we already learn to live and dream with it. Specifically it is our wants in relationship, material things, and everything that we are in love with. Even the situation isn’t comfortable we’re able to attached our self and mindset to feel that it’s okay. We always believed that there isn’t an easy way to move on and it’s true for those people who can’t understand why to let go.

    Why you should let go?

    • Because your emotions isn’t good for it
    • Because that thing are pulling you down
    • When things destroys your health
    • When it gives insanity
    • You are not making profit
    • It isn’t value for your time
    • To Move On

    • Because you still believe and someone believes in you.
    • Because you are hoping for something
    • Because you can bear the pain and struggle
    • When there is someone who support you
    • You know the return of investment is good
    • You can enjoy the time with
    • To Carry On

     

    Learning when and why you should let go is important in making a lifetime decisions especially in relationship. It is also important with regards with money and investment. To let go of your job and comfort zone. You may not notice the danger if you are not aware that you should let go or hold on.

    Commitment will solidify your belief. This is the reason why people cannot be able to let go. You can stand firm with your commitment but please bare your struggle to move on. Sometimes it can be hard and painful but it is your guts to overcome it.

    What is the process of letting go to move on?

    Seek closure – this can help you understand more the situations. You have to know where you stand and speak out gently what you feel and intentions. Let your heart do the talking and let your mind observe your feelings. Know that life is just a cycle repeating itself, because you may meet again on the other plane.

    Get Weird or have fun– You have to know and enjoy more about yourself. Do something that you may never forget because those things will help you to cover up. Watch movie, and get along with your friends. Keep the faith and completely trust God for He is there to comfort you.

    Move on – Make if fast and don’t try to look back. Face and see the brighter future. Tell yourself I love you and I will take care of you. Tell yourself that you may get hurt again but you’ve already learn to love yourself and nothing to worry about.
